About Us

Welcome to the Temecula Valley chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild. The Temecula Valley MQG (TVMQG) is creating a place for non-traditional Modern Quilters to connect and create.  The TVMQG was founded in January 2015 and is a branch guild of The Modern Quilt Guild.  Members and interested non-members are welcome to attend our meetings.
Our members come from all over the Inland Valley area, mainly from Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, and Fallbrook. We meet once a month to talk about modern quilting, share projects, sew and inspire each other.  We welcome quilters of all ages and skill levels. If you’ve never made a quilt before, or if you’ve been sewing for years and want to learn about a new style, we’d love to meet you!

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 6:30 pm, at Primitive Gatherings, 26855 Jefferson, Ste. D, Murrieta, 92562.  Anyone interested in quilting is welcome at our meetings.
As a non-Member, your first meeting is free and the second is $5.  After that, you’re welcome to join our Guild — we’d love to have you.

Our guild maintains its 501(c)3 status in part by making quilts and other textile items and donating them to chosen local charitable concerns, supporting children and others in need. In addition, we offer educational opportunities for members and the general public interested in modern quilt making
