MODERN QUILTS: REDESIGNING TRADITIONS

Yesterday I attended the Opening Reception of Modern Quilts: Redesigning Traditions at the Ontario Museum of Art and History.  The exhibit runs through Sunday, January 22, 2017.  Georgeanna Hawley curated the exhibit and she's long-armed two of my quilts.  She invited me to the receptions so that we could finally meet, IRL!

Below are some of the quilts from the exhibit and I encourage you to visit the museum if you have a chance.

As I said, I hope you find the time to go to the exhibit.  On January 17th from 6-8pm, Latifah Saafir, on of the founders of the MQG, is having a Trunk Show conjunction with this exhibit.  It's free, but you need to call the museum and RSVP that you'll attend.
